First ever · Invite only · ~20 seats

JIndia

India's first Java unconference — alongside the global unconferences at junconf.org.

Meet the people who actually make the JVM fast.

Two days with the people who live inside HotSpot — GC engineers, JIT hackers, and OpenJDK contributors. Not sessions about Java, but arguments over garbage collectors, compilers, and memory models, traded shoulder to shoulder, on the sand.

Dates 25–26 Sept 2026
Venue TBD
Access Invite-only, ~20 seats

Who you'll meet

Not a room of attendees — a room of people who'd otherwise only cross paths on a mailing list.

JVM Engineers · GC & JIT Specialists · OpenJDK Contributors · Performance Engineers · Runtime Architects

The engineer who's read the HotSpot source just to understand one weird stack trace.
The JVM engineer who chased a memory leak into production at 3am — and won.
The OpenJDK contributor whose patch you're running right now and have never noticed.
The maintainer whose library quietly ships inside half the JVMs you've touched.
The executive putting three different JVMs side by side on a slide — with the people who actually build them sitting close enough to argue back.

The premise

If HotSpot is working for you, we want to hear about it.

If it isn't, we need to hear about it.

How it works

Sessions get pitched and locked in about a week out, not built on the spot — a GC pause nobody can explain, a JIT deoptimization loop, a class-loading deadlock, whatever the room is wrestling with. Everyone who attends is expected to lead one, not just sit in one.
